Our bushfire tradegies......

Some pictures from our local papers. For all of our overseas friends and family, it has been quite a challenging week for us Victorians. Australia has seen the worst natural diasater in it's history, claiming over 200 lives now and leaving 1800 homes destroyed, some of whom have been members of our neighbouring ward. The fires have come closer to home than I care to ever imagine, with fires being as close as 20 minutes away.

This picture of the CFA volunteer giving a koala a drink has made headlines in some parts around the world.

The destruction left behind.
There has never been a more pressing time to be thankful for all of the blessings we enjoy as a young family here. Schools, busineses, clubs and preschools are all coming together in the rebuilding effort.
I just wanted to let you know that I am so grateful to have the Gospel in my life and to have happy, healthy children and also to have eternal goals for my family.

Welcome to the latest family pictures. The McDonald family 2009.
I tried to get an arty feet shot. It just didn't work that well. Not bad though.
